The Lake Cygnus campsite can be reached by following the path that branches off to the right from the junction just before the lake, and following it for approximately 300 metres down to the lake. The campsite consists of both a large, moderately sheltered clearing, along with wooden platforms that lie off to the side. The clearing has had rubber mats laid out and the mats are perforated to allow tent pegs to be driven through and into the ground. The toilet facilities can be found by continuing down the same trail towards the shore of the lake but following it as it circles around to the right into the scrub.
