Nuuksio National Park
The landscape of Nuuksio National Park is classically Finnish: numerous lakes dot the landscape, all of which are completely engulfed by conifer forests (Division: Pinophyta). These forests, which top the gentle glacier-carved hills, are cool and damp and are mostly made up of evergreen spruce (Picea sp.) and pine (Pinus sp.), both of which are well-adapted to the cold climate--they are more resistant to freezing than Read more2

Cape to Cape Track
The Cape to Cape Track is a 135-km-long trail that runs north-south along the west coast of the peninsula between Cape Naturaliste in the north, and Cape Leeuwin in the south. The trail itself mostly follows sweeping, windswept limestone ridges and long stretches of seemingly untouched, pristine beaches. It does, however, occasionally mix it up by looping inland through woodland and gorgeous karri forests Read more0
