The Lake Oberon campsite can be reached by following the main path straight down to the lake (the main path then continues on by skirting around the northern side of Lake Oberon). The path initially leads down to a sandy patch with the toilet facilities found to the left immediately after crossing the stream that lies just after. There are four very sheltered wooden platforms that can be reached by turning right after crossing the stream, and following a very waterlogged (almost swampy) path to the north-west. There are streams that runs parallel to this 'path' where water can be collected from.
